Our Approach
Indraprastha Law College (ILC) has adopted a teaching methodology which blends the classroom learning with enormous focus on hands-on exposure. In line with our focus, the students are inspired into hands-on learning through presentations, research, case studies, debates, simulation exercise, role plays, competitions, seminars and conferences.
Law is a dynamic business domain, and we put emphasis on discussions/ debates on the latest events and judgments given by various courts, so that the students are able to follow developments law in an objective manner. Our teaching methodology includes:-
Classroom Teaching
ILC guarantees quality class room teaching for developing legal knowledge with students of law imbibing social responsibility delivered leveraging the technology. The learned academicians at ILC, grow students not just on the course curriculum, but also its relevance w.r.to current social, economic, political affairs of legal relevance in purely transparent and accountable setup. Each student is a focus in the complete process of courseware understanding and its significance in the ocean of thoughts and social objective of constitution of India.
Moot Court and Mock Trials
Moot Court is high focus area, key platform and serious business at ILC, in enabling hands-on experience and practical exposure. The College make every effort at this forum, and students integrate the theory, and practice of Law through simulation, presentations and role plays over regular/ monthly compulsory moot court @campus. For ensuring the objective, mooter”s Forum at ILC has been setup consisting of faculty members and senior students who conduct regular mooting sessions within the college and sincere participation to mooter’s competitions of national repute.
Debates & Big Fights
The debates and big fights are serious and mandatory focus student activity at ILC, organized over regular monthly compulsory event at @campus. The practice is to raise a current issue of social and political relevance, give research notice and supported by a guided preparation.
The main event main event covering various aspects involving all stakeholders, students to the level of tolerant listening and justified reasoning to commonly enjoy the Right to Freedom of Speech and Expression as enshrined in the Constitution of India giving respect to the reasonable restrictions.
Competitions, Seminars and Conferences
The Corporate Resource centre (CRC) at ILC, is actively involved with external world, ensuring benchmarking with peer and raising the bar for outperforming year-on-year basis. The Corporate External Affairs Officer ensure best representation and participation of ILC students to peer Competitions, Seminars and Conferences across India, providing them an opportunity to interact, listen, question, inspire and discuss their academic problems with the visiting legal dignitaries, luminaries and members.
